TechniSat CONNECT enables for the first time the unified operation of a variety of TechniSat devices from a central app. Whether it's controlling the TV, radio, or multimedia receiver, TechniSat CONNECT caters to your individual needs. The possibilities of TechniSat CONNECT expand with the TechniSat products in your home. You have the flexibility to choose which product solutions to integrate. With TechniSat CONNECT, functions can be easily selected or deselected.

An app based on a modular concept. Currently, the following modules are integrated into TechniSat CONNECT:

• CONTROL: Control and operate compatible TechniSat TV devices, receivers, and radios through the TechniSat CONNECT app.
• SIEHFERN INFO: Want to know when your favorite show is on? Simply check the digital program guide SIEHFERN INFO. You can view the TV program for many channels up to 4 weeks in advance. You can also mark your favorite show for recording with just two clicks – even while on the go.
• SMARTHOME: Make your home smarter with TechniSat CONNECT. Our compatible Smart-TVs and receivers already have the central unit to control all Smart Home components. This enables full house automation through the menu of the TechniSat device or via the TechniSat CONNECT app on your smartphone/tablet, eliminating the need for a separate central unit.
• MULTIROOM: Enjoy your favorite music seamlessly in all rooms at home. Whether radio stations, CDs, or digital music files – you decide what to listen to and where. Play your music individually in each room or simultaneously in multiple rooms, wirelessly over the home network using TechniSat's high-quality radios and speakers.
• MULTIPLAY: Want to watch media content stored on your TechniSat receiver or TV device in the garden? With MULTIPLAY, you can view these contents within your home network on your tablet or smartphone. Playback recordings and content like Live TV directly using the CONNECT app. You can also continue watching a recording in another room by simply selecting a different playback device with MULTIPLAY and streaming the recording via UPnP.

Information about required permissions:

• Location: Necessary for determining position via GPS/network for scenarios such as sun-dependent scenes. Used only with customer consent or manual input.
• Storage (Read access): Required to access local media on mobile devices.
• Access Bluetooth settings: Needed to open Bluetooth settings through the app so that users can pair their mobile device with a TechniSat speaker, for example.
• Create and disconnect WLAN connections: Necessary for the setup process with multiroom speakers.
• Full network access: Required for the app to communicate with other devices or via the internet, essential for the operation of all modules in TechniSat Connect.
• Disable standby mode: Allows users to improve stability in SmartHome when mobile devices enter standby mode.
• Retrieve WLAN connections: Enables automated responses during connection failures and informing users about possible errors.
• Internet access: Grants access to the Smart Home Cloud, online help, tutorials, and updating SFI data.
